To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please familiarise yourself with our booking terms. This page outlines the important details regarding your reservation and stay. If you are unsure of anything, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstanding.
INTRODUCTION
- This is a contract between the property owner Julie Pennycook and the guest who makes the booking.
- The property owners are referred to as ‘’we’’ and ‘’us’’. The property is referred to being Trematon Hall.
- The guest is the person who completes the online booking and makes the online payment. This person is responsible for ensuring all members of the holiday party accept and adhere to these Terms and Conditions. The guest is referred to as ‘’you’’ within this contract.
BOOKING & PAYMENT
- There is no minimum night stay for either of our Shepherd Huts. The maximum number of guests entitled to stay is 2 persons in each hut. You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A non-refundable booking deposit of 30% is payable at the time of booking. On receipt of the deposit a booking confirmation will be sent to you - stating the details of your stay, payments made and due.
- The remaining balance is to be paid no later than month before booking date. If the balance is not received by the due date, your holiday will be treated as a cancellation and your dates released. Bookings made less than 1 month before your arrival date must be paid in full.
- We accept payments by PayPal or bank transfer.
- In the unlikely event of a double booking or a shepherd’s hut becoming unavailable for any other reason we reserve the right to offer the guests alternative dates or a full refund.
CANCELLATION
- All cancellations must be notified in writing as soon as possible.
- If you cancel your holiday more than 1 month before it is due to start, then your deposit will be forfeit. If you cancel less than 1 month before the holiday, the full balance remains due and is not refundable.
- We will not cancel your booking only in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made of your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to the return of payments made to us.
- If you are unable to complete your stay, early departure will not reduce the price of your rental.
- We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or that guests) may impair the enjoyment comfort or health of others.
- We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation. If you choose not to then you accept responsibility for any losses, you may incur.
PRICES
- The prices on the website are not binding and therefore we reserve the right to modify these prices.
- When a booking is taken the price will be stated and a confirmation invoice becomes binding.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
- The maximum number of people entitled to stay at Trematon Hall is 2 people per shepherd’s hut.
- If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property, this will be considered a breach of the contract and guests will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
- Subletting or assignment of the let is prohibited.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
- Check – in is from 3pm onwards.
- Departure is by 11am, we ask you please to respect these times.
- Late departure will result in an additional charge being made.
LIABILITY
- Guests are asked to take care whilst staying at Trematon Hall. We take no liability for accidents, loss of property or personal injury incurred on site.
- Guests using the outdoor baths, fire-pits/BBQs and log-burner use entirely at their own risk! We take no responsibility for any incident.
CLEANING AND BREAKAGES
- We would like to think guests would treat our property as they would their own home and at the end of your stay the property is left in a clean and tidy condition.
- We reserve the right to make an additional charge for cleaning should the property not be left in a similar condition to the way it was found at the start of your stay.
- Guests should make every effort to keep the property, fixtures and fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of your stay.
- Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported to the property owner as soon as possible or latest prior to departure.
- We retain the right to make an additional charge for damage and breakages although it should be noted that minor breakages and reasonable wear and tear (in the opinion of the property owner) will not be charged for.
VEHICLES
We take no responsibility for guest’s vehicles, personal possessions. Vehicles and possessions are left entirely at the risk of the guests.
Please park your vehicles in the designated parking space, parking is limited to two vehicles. One vehicle per shepherd’s hut. There is room for a third vehicle so if you are travelling separately, please contact us.
PETS
Your four-legged friends are more than welcome at Trematon Hall, just let us know in advance if you're bringing a furry guest!
Please ensure the following rules are adhered to:
- Bring
along your dog’s bed.
- Dogs
must be house trained.
- Dogs
are strictly forbidden to go on the furniture or on the bed.
- The
dog owner must pick up after their dog has fouled and use the specific
waste bin provided.
- The
dog must be under control whilst staying at Trematon Hall
- Under
no circumstance must your dog be left unaccompanied in the property at any
time.
- Dog
owners must ensure their pet is free from fleas, ticks, lice, and other
parasites before the holiday.
- Guests
shall be liable for all damaged caused by his/her pet. A charge will be
made for any additional cleaning required.
We cannot be held responsible for any incident or injury to a pet during their stay.
COMPLAINTS
Every endeavour is made to ensure your stay with us is memorable for all the right reasons. However, we do recognise that from to time things do go wrong. In these circumstances, it is the responsibility of the guests to make any such problem known to us the property owner (or their representative) immediately it becomes apparent, thereby giving the property owner the opportunity to correct the situation.
Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained. The property owner will make every endeavour to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonable possible.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property, over time, alterations are made, and some things do change. The guests accepts that no refunds are available for such discrepancies.
- The property owner reserves the right to enter the property, at a reasonable time, in the event of an emergency or remedial repair work being required.
- The property owner reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone, who in the property owner’s opinion is not suitable to or capable of taking charge of the property.
- The property owner reserves the right to ask the guest and their party to leave the property, without refund, should the behaviour of the guest and/or their party be considered by the property owner to be unreasonable.
CHANGES IN TERMS
- Trematon Hall reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
- Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the Trematon Hall website.
